Developing collaborative leadership at Lynk & Co

The Client

Lynk & Co is a new kind of automobile brand. It was launched in 2016 with a mission to revolutionise the way we buy and drive cars – by offering options that better suit our modern ways and connected world. This includes flexible car membership subscriptions and the helpful creation of car-sharing communities.

Helping Lynk & Co develop connected and collaborative leaders to support their rapid business growth.

Our Solution

We co-created the Leadershift Journey: a 3+ month learning experience comprised of 4 modules (based on The Be Seen Experience): Ignite, Explore, Connect and Inspire – and including a dynamic mix of self-awareness exercises, virtual and in-person workshops, and individual, peer and team challenges.

 

The learning outcomes for participants:

 

  • Increased understanding of their own mindsets

  • Development of a ‘growth mindset’ to apply to their daily lives

  • Identification of – and connection to – their identity, core values, purpose and passions

  • Increased understanding of the neuroscience of trust and psychological safety – and how to build these within and across their teams

  • Cross functional collaboration (using design thinking) that spotlights business opportunities and solutions

  • Co-creation of ideas, visions, strategies and plans for building the company culture and support its rapid scale up

  • Increased confidence to influence and inspire each other and the future of the business

The Brief

Having moved quickly from a start-up to scale-up, Lynk & Co wanted support in dealing with and excelling through this rapid growth.

 

Their aim was to:

 

  • Practice great human leadership throughout the company’s continued growth

  • Invest in and develop the 80+ leaders across their European locations

  • Co-create and sustain a desired company culture – placing diversity, inclusion, belonging and innovation at its heart

  • Sharpen its focus on connection, collaboration and collective leadership
